A security or automation system is a long-term decision
Most bad experiences start before installation, not during it: when it doesn’t become clear in time what the client wants and what is actually feasible at that site. That’s why we’ve set up the process this way.
You write to us
You tell us what you’d like to solve. There’s no need for a device list, brand names or a technical plan – a few sentences about the site and the problem are enough.
Good to know: the more specifically you describe the situation, the more accurate our first reply will be. A photo also helps a lot.
A quick remote consultation
We talk through the scope of what you need by phone, online or by email. This step has one purpose: to find out whether you’ve come to the right place and what’s needed for the next step.
Good to know: if the job doesn’t fit our profile, we tell you at this point – not after the site survey.
Site survey
We come out, walk through the site and check what is technically feasible. If there is any existing technical documentation – floor plan, electrical plan, papers for a previous system – we ask for it at this point too.
At this stage we also go through your needs and the possible directions in detail: the difference between cloud-based and cloud-free solutions, where a more expensive device is worth it and where it isn’t, what’s worth doing first and what can be left for later.
Can be skipped: for a smaller, clear-cut job – for example, replacing a single device – no site survey is needed, and we move on based on the remote consultation.
Technical proposal
Based on the survey, we put together a proposal – or several, if there’s more than one sensible direction. We describe what the system does, what it doesn’t do and why each element was included.
If you don’t like something or had something else in mind, we rework it. This step continues until the proposal matches what you have in mind.
Itemised quote
For the agreed technical scope, we give you an itemised quote: devices, labour and any options. You don’t get a single total: you see what each item costs.
If you’d like to change the scope after seeing the quote, we rework it here too.
Order, installation, handover
After you place the order, we install and configure the system – it doesn’t just go up on the wall; we also set up what it needs to do.
At the end of the job we test the operation, hand over the system, show you how to use it and give you the documentation – device list, zone list, automation register, access details and the required reports. Invoicing is also completed at this stage.
Good to know: the user and administrator access belong to you; on request, we hand over the alarm’s installer code with documentation. We don’t tie you to us by being the only ones with access to your own system.
Maintenance, if you need it
If you’d like maintenance or aftercare, we carry on working after the handover. Annual inspection, remote support, expansion – according to your needs. Details: Operation and service.
Not mandatory: if you don’t ask for maintenance, the system is still yours and works – you just have to keep an eye on faults and updates yourself. For alarms, it’s worth knowing that insurers typically expect the system to be in working order and maintained.
Two things that hold true throughout
- We don’t sell you anything you don’t need. If something isn’t justified at your site, we tell you, even if it means a smaller order.
- We put things in writing. We document the technical scope, the price and the limits of what we take on – so nobody has to rely on memory later.
