Private security activities are regulated by Act CXXXIII of 2005 (Szvtv.). Under this Act, security systems – alarm, camera and access control systems – may only be installed in Hungary by a business whose technical manager holds a police-issued licence card, which has taken out liability insurance for the activity and which has been registered by the police authority. The police issue the card after verifying the professional qualification. We meet all three requirements, and the police inspect our activity every year.
